Purpose: This policy sets forth the guidelines for the protection and use of the intellectual property (IP) owned or controlled by Altered State Productions (ASP), a media production company specializing in film and television production.

Scope: This policy applies to all employees, independent contractors, interns, and other individuals or entities working with or on behalf of ASP.

Ownership of IP: All IP created or developed by employees, independent contractors, interns, or other individuals or entities working with or on behalf of ASP, whether during or outside of working hours, shall be the sole property of ASP. This includes but is not limited to, any and all copyrightable works, trademarks, trade secrets, and patents.

Use of IP: ASP reserves the right to use any IP developed or created by employees, independent contractors, interns, or other individuals or entities working with or on behalf of ASP for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to production, distribution, promotion, and monetization.

Confidentiality: Employees, independent contractors, interns, and other individuals or entities working with or on behalf of ASP shall not disclose any confidential or proprietary information, including but not limited to IP, to any third party without the express written consent of ASP. This includes any information or materials related to ASP's ongoing or upcoming productions.

Infringement: ASP shall take all necessary legal action to protect its IP from infringement. All employees, independent contractors, interns, and other individuals or entities working with or on behalf of ASP shall immediately report any suspected infringement to ASP's legal department.

Compliance: All employees, independent contractors, interns, and other individuals or entities working with or on behalf of ASP are expected to comply with this policy and all applicable laws related to IP. Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or termination of a contract.

Review: ASP will review this policy periodically and reserves the right to make changes at any time. All employees, independent contractors, interns, and other individuals or entities working with or on behalf of ASP are expected to stay informed and comply with the latest version of this policy.
