In the Look Dev Project, Altered State Productions 3D artist Roberto Barrientos embarked on crafting an original design for Samsung Gear VR's exhibit experience. With a large VR symbol radiating an outer glow, he aimed to magnetize distant viewers. This glow, continuing across the exhibit's top, guides the viewer's eye throughout the display, which houses a sales section and two immersive Samsung Gear VR zones. The design was sculpted in 3DS Max and brought to life using V-Ray, followed by enhancing the renders in Photoshop. This exhibit encapsulates my intention to merge aesthetics with function, ensuring an engaging user experience.
