The largest at-home LED therapy device steps into the spotlight, debuting through precision 3D modeling and animation. With its robust, collapsible frame and 360 radiant LEDs, this animation illuminates the intersection of cutting-edge light therapy and modern healthcare, marking a new chapter in direct-to-consumer medical products.
3ds Max was employed to create a realistic 3D representation of the device. The process involved 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering, capturing both the device's design and LED light array. The animation highlights transitions between blue, red, and green wavelengths, demonstrating its infrared and light therapy functions.
The modeling focused on the U-shaped, collapsible frame, designed for full-body treatments. The 23-inch wide structure, housing 360 LEDs and infrared points, was modeled to ensure proper alignment. Texturing applied a high-gloss shader to the exterior for a polished finish, while the LED panels were given a matte texture to diffuse the light. Global illumination and ambient occlusion were used to depict realistic light interactions, especially during the LED color transitions, with HDRI lighting adding depth and accurate reflections.
The animation utilized various camera movements to create a comprehensive and engaging showcase of the device's functions. Slow pans established the overall form, while close-up shots highlighted key features like LED transitions. Smooth rotations offered a 360-degree view, essential for B2B presentations and product demonstrations. Dolly movements emphasized interactive elements, such as the touchscreen controls, while depth-of-field techniques added focus to specific areas, enhancing clarity.
Keyframing with Bezier curves ensured fluid camera motion, while timed transitions between shots-maintained viewer engagement. The animation effectively showcases the device’s core features, making it ideal for marketing to doctors, product commercials, and instructional videos.
